La Luna del Amazonas

Food

Our food is after safety and your personal healing our highest priority

Our food is organic and grown locally by our neighbors in the village. It is cuisine unique to this area and is one of the healthiest/tastiest diets in the world.

The Ayahuasca diet usually consists of local fish, chicken or a vegetarian option, with vegetables such as jungle potatoes or yucca, sweet plantain pancakes, a variety of beans, jungle fruits, fresh juices, and rice. The ayahuasca diet contains a very low intake of salt, no added sugars, and coconut oil is sometimes used for cooking. We are happy to cook any substitute meal or side dish for anyone with special requests or needs. Just tell us your dietary requests/needs before you arrive and we can plan ahead to give you the best experience possible.
